Our inaugural Authentic Retreat took place in November, 2019.
We brought a weekend of deep connections, basking in beautiful nature and of course, faciliated activities to build skills in listening, empathy and vulnerability. The retreat was held on Waka Waka country at a property close to Mt Byron. The weekend was fully catered. The cost of the weekend was $65 for food, accommodation and workshops for the entire weekend, with options for solidarity/concession tickets depending on individual situations.
Authentic Relating is a practice developed in the 90s in the US which has quickly spread to all corners of the world. We use communication games to explore the potential of human connection and gain insight and skills that help us have more fulfilling relationships with the people in our lives.
